Director - Operations

Babawale Okunola

Commonly referred to as 'Wale,' stands as a distinguished professional in the logistics and freight forwarding domain, boasting an impressive tenure of nearly three decades within the industry. His steadfast dedication to delivering excellence has been a hallmark of his career, marked by a profound expertise in global forwarding, shipping, and logistics. Wale has adeptly managed a diverse array of cargo, ranging from container groupage to handling multimillion-dollar investments, specifically within the spheres of oil & gas. His collaborative efforts with major shipping and maritime entities have facilitated seamless operations, solidifying his reputation as a seasoned professional. Notably, Wale's proficiency extends to air cargo, encompassing chartered flight management and the handling of delicate items such as perishables, animals, heavy equipment, and radiative materials. Over the course of his professional journey, Wale has undertaken various pivotal roles, including those of Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Client Relationship Manager. This multifaceted experience underscores his versatility and well-rounded skill set. His educational background includes degrees in Civil Engineering from Yaba College of Technology, Nigeria, and Computer Science from the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom. Beyond his academic achievements and professional roles, Wale actively engages as a member in numerous professional and business associations, contributing to the broader discourse within his industry. Presently, he holds the position of Director at TLS, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing operations, thereby steering the company toward continued success and excellence.

Abayomi Adedara

Commonly referred to as 'Yomi, stands as a distinguished management and public sector consultant, specializing in an array of fields including International Trade, Regional Economics, Economics of Knowledge and Innovation, Organizational Transformation, Political Economy, and Economic Development. With an extensive career spanning over two decades, he has amassed a wealth of experience in management consulting, investment banking, mortgage banking, and international development. Throughout his career, 'Yomi has held key roles as both an employee and consultant for esteemed organizations such as UK DFID (now FCDO), SPARC, USAID, EU, GIZ, among others. His impact has been instrumental in contributing to diverse programs and projects at the national, sub-national, and local government levels in Nigeria, showcasing his versatile expertise. Educationally, 'Yomi holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from the University of Ibadan and the University of Lagos, respectively. His commitment to continuous professional development is evident through his completion of Project Management Professional training at Acceltage Consulting, which has earned him membership in the Project Management Institute (PMI). In addition to his core competencies, 'Yomi possesses valuable skills in Conflict Resolution, as evidenced by his accreditation from the National Institute for Conflict Resolution and Studies (NICRS). Further enhancing his knowledge base, he has successfully completed courses such as "Principles of PDIA: Building Capability by Delivering Results" and "Building State Capability" at the Harvard International Center for Development. Currently serving as a Director at TLS, 'Yomi assumes a pivotal role in overseeing Corporate Strategy and Business Development. His strategic acumen, combined with a profound understanding of economic dynamics and international trade, positions him as a key driver of the organization's success.
